Heres my first attempt at a cover for the 'Marina and the Diamonds' Single, 'Mowgli's Road'.
I'm unsure of what to think of this, it took me a while, and it seems a bit jaggy and amateur. I mean, thats what I am, an amateur, but not what I'm aiming for my work to look like.
On my first listen to this song, I was not given connotations of jungles: a ramble of stark animal screeches and vines hanging from trees. I somehow imagined this song being written in a forest, with people dressed up as these sort of animals. In the end I settled with one lone ghost of a lion, among sunbathed trees. In black and white with colour in both the lion and the Marina logo.
Anyone out there, comment? I need some opinions!

My name is Douglas. I'm 14 years old and live in Scotland. For years, I've tried to decide what to do with myself once I leave school and need to find a way to support myself. So I've widdled it down to three possible occupations: graphic design, photography or music video directing. This blog will likely never be updated. So if you visit it and like what you see, send me an email, give me a proper boot up the arse and get me blogging again.
Expect to see attempts at graphic design, its something I've been doing for a good four or five years, so I've built up some pretty decent skills.
My photography aint too shabby. I don't have a pretty, sparkling camera, but I like taking photos that I look back at and am happy I'm able to find a shot like it.
Music video directings just a dream, like singing, playing professional football. It wont happen, but its something that would be incredible to do once or twice.
